Dallas CASA, a nonprofit agency that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children, seeks an Accounting and Assurance Manager.  Responsibilities include managing and performing all general nonprofit accounting functions. Day to day responsibilities  include managing the general ledger, certain aspects of A/P and A/R, financial reporting, budgeting,  preparing material for audits and working  with auditors.  This position also supervises the Volunteer Data Specialist and  oversees volunteer data and compliance of that data with standards and regulations.  Ideal candidate will be accurate and detail-oriented, maintain confidentiality, able to establish priorities and meet deadlines, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Must have proficiency with financial principles and databases (Blackbaud preferred), MSOffice and Excel.  Required: a Bachelor’s degree in accounting,  minimum 4 years’ experience in an accounting position.
