The Chief Program Officer is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and support to all CitySquare programs; this includes the overall programmatic operations as well as the resource management and inter-organizational collaboration efforts. He/she is responsible for implementing departmental and program strategies, overseeing personnel management, managing outcome data collection and overseeing program operations for the organization in accordance with CitySquare’s vision and mission. The Chief Program Officer will assist in identifying critical goals, success factors and measure performance across all programs and will support CitySquare teams in achieving these objectives. He/she will work with the President to identify opportunities to enrich/enhance current programming and explore new, innovative program opportunities that fit within our mission.
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management or a related professional field required. Work experience may be substituted for a degree at the discretion of the President.
Experience: Five years of experience in management or administration, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
Additional Requirements: Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends) or on-call as requested. Must be able to travel as requested. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle liability insurance and reliable transportation. Must have thorough knowledge of Non-Profit 501(c)3 state and federal regulatory standards.
