SUMMARY:

The Executive Administrative Assistant will work and support the officers of The Bridge with administrative duties. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as primary contact for the President and CEO
  • Prepares communication for President and CEO and other Officers
  • Maintain calendars
  • Coordinate travel arrangements when required
  • Establish and maintains spreadsheets and other reports accurately
  • Ability to create complex presentations
  • Transcribes notes during meetings with the Officers and Board
  • Handle incoming mail
  • All administrative duties that might not be listed

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data base programs required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to meet strict deadlines

IMPORTANT QUALITIES:

  • Integrity: This position will have access to sensitive and private information. They will need to be trusted to handle all information to protect privacy
  • Interpersonal skills: The ideal candidate will have skills in interaction with all employees, managers, officers, board members, and the public. They must be able to present the mission of The Bridge professionally
  • Must maintain only professional relationships with employees
  • The Executive Administrative position must never form a relationship with employees that leaves a perception of other than a professional relationship

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in administration, business, human services or related field is preferred
  • Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) is preferred
  • Non-Profit experience is a must
  • Experience in working with the homeless and / or Social Programs is required
  • Knowledge of grants and grant reporting is preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

The Bridge is a Homeless Recovery Center and the candidate will have minimal contact with our guest (the homeless population)

This position will primarily server the President and CEO and the Officers; however, will be required to communicate with the board and other departments as directed

This requirement will require walking from office to office much of the time
