Description

Tarrant Churches Together is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in concert and collaboration with approx. 60 faith based churches (all denominations) and various community partners to have an impact with community services/events in the areas of education, literacy, homelessness, and volunteerism.
TCT is seeking a dynamic EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR to work with our existing board of directors, committees, and partners to further our reach, impact, and overall mission. 
 
Position: Full Time Exempt 

Salary: $45,000 annually 

 REQUIREMENTS:
  • University degree (Bachelors) required; graduate degree preferred Experience working in Church Community environment
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with grantors, major donors, community leaders, partner agencies, government officials, multi-cultural clients and colleagues on all levels
  • Five years working in Church Community environment experiencing:
    • Progressive levels of responsibility including supervising and program management with a non-profit organization of volunteers
    • Fundraising, public relations, proposal writing, volunteer coordination and other advocacy/development duties in the non-profit sector
    • Cultivation of foundation and donor relations and the successful preparation of grant proposals
    • Successful history of soliciting individual major donors for financial support, as well as securing corporate gifts
    • Creation of development plans and systems that organize resource opportunities, track donor giving, and prioritize routine and emergent strategies
    • Ability to conduct research through various sources to target and locate potential sources of funding
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office application (especially Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to promote productivity and efficiency
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including week nights and weekends as necessary
