Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Inc. (RMHD) seeks an experienced Development professional to serve as our Special Events Manager. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience in Dallas. He or she will have a proven track record in fundraising and sponsorship cultivation and in managing special events, membership groups, seasonal employees and volunteers. Our candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. He or she will have the ability to manage several events simultaneously, work well under pressure and have strong organizational skills as well as represent the important mission and goals of RMHD at all times. The Special Events Manager is considered part of the Development team and reports to the Chief Development Officer. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, Raiser’s Edge, Greater Giving, MS Office and retail experience is strongly preferred.
