The 2014 A Night of Light Celebration

The 2014 event presented by Alliance Data will be held on November 20, 2014 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.

About A Night of Light

In order to raise funds to support CNM’s work with more than 5,000 nonprofit staff, board and volunteers, A Night of Light was created in 2001 to recognize and celebrate nonprofit excellence in North Texas.  A Night of Light is an awards celebration that honors the stars of the nonprofit community. A Night of Light serves as CNM’s largest fundraiser so that CNM can continue to strengthen nonprofits, enhancing each nonprofit’s sustainability and maximizing its impact upon the community.

About the Awards of Excellence

Now in its fourteenth year, A Night of Light’s Awards of Excellence are $5,000 cash awards given to nonprofit organizations, individuals and corporations recognizing excellence in nonprofit management and the outstanding contribution the nonprofit sector makes to the community. In a highly competitive application process, an independent panel of judges selects three finalists in five categories. Since its inception, A Night of Light has awarded 75 agencies and individuals with $5,000 cash awards, a giving total of $375,000!

Winners in the five categories receive an unrestricted grant of $5,000, a crystal award from Tiffany & Co., and scholarships for CNM services.

Winners will be announced LIVE at A Night of Light on November 20, 2014 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
