Description Jericho Road Dallas, an exciting new social venture launching in our area, is seeking a Director to start up and manage the initiative. The mission of Jericho Road Dallas (JRD) is to bridge communities by matching the professional talents of volunteers with the needs of community-based nonprofit organizations, delivering short-term project services to promote community development, strengthen social services, and enrich the lives of volunteers. Our vision is a just, compassionate, and united Dallas supported by a dynamic network of individual and institutional partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure programmatic excellence, meeting financial, administrative, fundraising, communication and operational goals.
• Identify and recruit new volunteers and nonprofit clients.
• Create collaborations by matching volunteers with nonprofit clients to deliver project support.
• Effectively manage collaborations to completion; assess project results and impact to include follow-up with volunteers and nonprofits.
• Actively engage and energize Jericho Road Dallas volunteers, partnering organizations, funders and board members.
• Support a strong Board of Directors.
• Market Jericho Road Dallas in both the nonprofit and volunteer communities.
• Partner with the Board of Directors in fundraising strategy and activities (grants, sponsorships, events)
• Collaborate with other Jericho Road sites: participate in monthly virtual meetings with Jericho Road Executive Directors in other US locations and attend the yearly Jericho Road Project national conference.

• Robust nonprofit organization management and/or consulting experience in North Texas.
• Self-starter who can work both independently and as a team member.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to apply these skills across a range of relationships and environments.
• Ability to use technology (software programs, email, social media) to engage and strategically communicate with volunteers, donors, non-profit partners, and other institutional entities.
• Strong financial acumen; ability to collaborate in creating a financial plan and budget, monitor financial progress against goals, and manage operational expenses.
• Ability to address multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills who can balance a variety of detailed projects and contact points simultaneously.
• Strong program planning and evaluation skills; fundraising and grant writing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus.
