Leveraging Your Content to Drive Engagement

August 3 @ 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Is your content strategy effectively engaging your audience? Are you prepared to maximize North Texas Giving Day? Are you successfully turning your story into support ― across multiple channels?

Join Elaine Gantz Wright, content strategist and consultant, for this informative how-to training that will propel your content to a whole new level. Learn best practices for transforming static content, such as white papers, case studies, research reports, proposals and blog posts into powerful engagement tools.

Suitable for those who are new to development or marketing, as well as experienced professionals seeking to enhance their skills and programs. Bring a piece of content for a live “makeover.”

Learning objectives:

  • Assessing your content to find the nuggets that can drive interaction.
  • Developing a content calendar based on your audience, priorities and objectives.
  • Using social media channels to increase reach and impact.
  • Focusing your time and effort based on data and response.

Course Outline:

  1. Identifying your key “personas” and how to build relevant content that engages them.
  2. Deciding what type of content you should be creating and why.
  3. Developing effective content integration, repurposing and distribution tactics.
  4. Crafting powerful donor-centric stories. (As time permits, review “makeover” content pieces.)
