Dallas CASA, a nonprofit agency that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children, seeks one CASA supervisor. Responsibilities include ensuring effective advocacy for children who have been removed from their homes due to allegations of abuse or neglect and ensuring the best interests of children are always represented. The supervisor will work directly with children and travel to other locations in Texas to visit them in their foster, facility or relative placements. The supervisor will also manage a caseload and maintain case records. The supervisor role may also involve supervision of volunteer advocates. Knowledge of juvenile/child welfare system and bilingual skills is a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. The ability to bring issues to closure is essential. Strong organizational skills are required. Preferred: Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field OR equivalent combination of experience in the field.
