SafeHaven of Tarrant County seeks a Director of Marketing and Communications. The Director will be responsible for the desired image of the agency in the community. The position emphasizes managing external communications and creating and managing promotional materials (newsletters, brochures, invitations, press releases, social media, website content etc.). Key responsibilities include: marketing materials, developing communications calendar, and marketing needs for special events.
The Director of Marketing and Communications requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of successful marketing. The Director should have familiarity with the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), WordPress and donor database systems, preferably DonorPerfect.
SafeHaven is the domestic violence service provider for Tarrant County and operates the county’s only dedicated emergency shelters for victims.
